Which policy applies
This policy applies only to Baygush General English payments, made from the General English page using the username your teacher issued to you. Our other refund policies:
Scope
Baygush General English is a payment and administration service for private English lessons delivered by an independent teacher. Each payment covers one calendar month of lessons at the plan the teacher agreed with you (individual, group, or a custom amount).
Payments are processed by Payriff (Merchant ID ES1095980) and appear on your card statement as BAYGUSH. Prices are in Azerbaijani manat (AZN) and include applicable taxes.
Payments are non-refundable
General English payments are non-refundable. Once your payment for a given month is confirmed, we do not refund it if you change your mind, if your schedule changes, if you attend only some of the month's lessons, or if you stop attending part-way through.
Please make sure your username, plan, and month are correct before you pay. If you pay for the wrong month or under the wrong username, email us right away at hello@baygush.com and we will fix the routing without needing to refund and re-charge.
When we make exceptions
We handle two situations case-by-case, on the merits of what happened:
- The teacher misses a lesson without rescheduling it and without offering a replacement. Contact us and we will either arrange the replacement or refund the part of the month affected.
- A duplicate or unauthorised charge, see § 5.
Extended teacher unavailability (illness, emergency, sustained no-show) is handled on the same basis, we look at what was owed and what was delivered.
Unauthorised charges and chargebacks
If a charge on your card was not authorised, email hello@baygush.com before raising a chargeback with your bank. We can usually resolve billing issues directly.
