General English Privacy Policy

Baygush General English is operated by Baygush MMC (VÖEN 1606082841), Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, the data controller for the personal data described here. Reach us at hello@baygush.com.

This document details how the general Baygush Privacy Policy applies specifically to General English students.

General English students do not sign up on baygush.com. Your teacher enrols you and gives us the minimum information needed for us to accept the payment and connect it to the right student record:

• Your name and email address, supplied by the teacher when she enrols you, so we can attribute payments correctly.
• The plan the teacher assigned to you, and any custom amount, so the checkout knows how much to charge.
• A username we issue for you, which is what you type at checkout each month so we can find your student record.
• Your payment history, amount, date, and Payriff order identifier. Card details go directly to Payriff's hosted page and never touch our servers.

We do not receive lesson-related communication (schedules, homework, messages) between you and the teacher. Those live outside Baygush.

The teacher already has whatever contact details you gave her when she took you on as a student, and holds them as an independent data controller under the laws that apply to her. Baygush does not receive her wider student records. When you pay, we tell her that the payment was received against your username so she can confirm your month is settled.

The data we hold about you is shared with:

• Payriff, to process the payment.
• Our email provider, to notify the teacher that your payment was received.
• The teacher, name, email, and payment status only, as described above.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Student records for as long as you are actively enrolled with the teacher, plus the archival window we agree with her once you finish. If you ask us to remove your record, we do so within 30 days, except payment records, which we must keep for 7 years under Azerbaijani tax law.

You can ask us at any time to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Email hello@baygush.com. We respond within 30 days. For anything the teacher holds directly (schedule, lesson notes, contact history), please contact the teacher for the same rights.

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Nothing here limits data-protection rights you may hold under the laws of your country of residence.
